Beautiful and functional outdoor spaces to suit your lifestyle.

The design process begins with a telephone consultation with Heather to discuss your requirements and to consider your existing outdoor space. We pride ourselves on listening carefully to our client's wishes and understanding their needs. We will discuss your budget for the landscaping works and will explain the design process in further detail.

The next step is then an Initial Consultation where you and Heather can meet and she can see and evaluate your garden for the first time. During this meeting a detailed Design Brief will be taken, together with the information we will require to put together a Fee Proposal for your project. These two documents will be sent to you following the meeting, alongside the relevant contract documentation.

Once under contract, in accordance with your detailed brief and Heather’s design experience, Heather will create a professional garden design Concept Plan for your garden. Prior to creating the plans a Topographical Land Survey will need to be commissioned and a Site Analysis undertaken. The concept plans are presented along with images and illustrations to help you to visualise your finished garden and 3D illustrations can also be commissioned.

On approval of the Concept Plan we move on to the next stage of the design process where Construction Drawings, Design Detail Plans and Technical Documents will be created for your project, ensuring that the garden will be built exactly as planned and in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. These plans are needed to enable your landscape contractor to accurately build the stylish and practical outdoor space as intended in the design concept.

With the hard landscape detail designed, we can then discuss your planting style preferences, the vision for the garden and any maintenance requirements all feeding in to the Planting Plans for your new borders.

We can also design garden lighting schemes and, if required, provide irrigation plans for our clients, as well as sourcing stylish furniture, perfect pots and unique sculptural pieces to complete your new garden. We can also organise the planting of your lush new borders.

Finally, Heather works alongside recommended British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) approved landscape contractors and is happy to oversee a tender process or work alongside your preferred landscape contractor and monitor the landscape building works on your behalf, meaning that you can relax and look forward to sitting in your new outside space.
