Beautiful and functional outdoor spaces to suit your lifestyle.

From her studio in Lindfield, near Haywards Heath, Sussex, Heather creates award-winning designs for gardens of all shapes and sizes throughout the South-East of England including London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent as well as further afield on request. Whether historic garden restoration for a period property, contemporary landscaping for a new build or simply planting design to reinvigorate an existing space, she offers consultation, advice, landscape and garden design services for all styles of garden, creating instinctive spaces with biodiversity and the environment in mind. Heather also works alongside architects, interior designers, builders and landscaping professionals to create a seamless transition from indoor space to outside 'rooms' that sit comfortably with the landscape beyond the garden wall.

Heather studied Garden Design at the world-renowned English Gardening School, graduating with distinction and has trained in Practical Horticulture with the Royal Horticultural Society. She is a Garden Designer Member of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) and a Pre-Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) working towards fully registered status. Heather also has a bachelors degree in history. Together this experience results in intuitive, interesting and individually designed landscapes that reflect modern lifestyles whilst remaining sensitive to historic and local influences and the personal tastes of her clients.

Heather has been a judge for South and South East in Bloom, a member of the Haywards Heath Strictly Gardening community event organising committee and has appeared at Grand Designs Live as one of their Garden Design Experts in 2012, 2014 and 2016. She regularly undertakes community work utilising her garden design skills, including creating plans for a sensory garden at a local primary school and a working plan for rejuvenating the school grounds, donating time and prizes to fundraising events for a number of local charities, including local special needs charity Kangaroos. Heather has also been the Chair of Lindfield in Bloom, a not-for-profit community group undertaking horticultural, environmental and community projects and is currently a member of the Greener Lindfield community group which highlights ways in which gardeners can look after their outside spaces more sustainably.
